Welcome to St Brigid’s College

St Brigid’s College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary School located on the Glengalliagh Road in Derry. We welcome students from our local Primary Schools as well as those from out of the area. The College is a thriving community of 750 students which includes a Sixth Form of 95.
Our core values are those of excellence and inclusion. We aim to provide the best possible opportunities for students of all abilities and to enable them to achieve as highly as possible. Top of The Gaelic Football league! - Sunday, June 14, 2009

Congratulations to our teams who have come out top of their league,a magnificent feat unheard of before. U14 - Ulster Bank Vocational Schools League Champions, U 16 -Ulster Bank Vocational Schools League Champions and U12, Vocational Schools Blitz (B) Champions.On Friday Morning during lesson 1, 2, 3 there will be a special award ceremony in the Assembly Hall for the successful under 16, under 14 and under 12 Gaelic Football teams, for their tremendous achievements in winning their respective championships. Brian Og McKeever’s parents will attend to present the medals and the under 16 team with the new Gaelic team kit which they have kindly sponsored.

Readathon - Sunday, June 14, 2009

Readathon was held in the school recently with Year 8, 9 and 10 students. They raised a very impressive £887.78 which will go to CLIC Sargent, a charity providing care for children with cancer.
